Youth Foundry Tri-Cities

Why it matters

Approximately 70% of mental illnesses emerge before age 24, and overdoses are the leading cause of death for BC youth aged 10–19. Foundry Tri-Cities addresses this head-on by offering free, confidential services with no referrals or appointments required, ensuring support is accessible before challenges become crises. Each visit is designed to be easy, timely and empowering.

A one-stop shop for youth and families

By integrating care in one location, Foundry Tri-Cities helps young people feel seen, supported, and connected, while also building resilience and community. Foundry Tri-Cities supports youth aged 12–24 and their families through:

  • Medical and primary care: Physical health, sexual health, gender-affirming care, addiction medicine
  • Mental health: Walk-in counselling for immediate needs
  • Substance use: Prevention, counselling, harm reduction, and system navigation
  • Peer support: Youth and caregivers with lived experience provide guidance, advocacy, and mentorship
  • Social services: Employment, education, housing, and wellness activities

Hours of operation:

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (by appointment)
  • Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–7:00 PM (drop-in)

A community-led, inclusive space

The centre was created and co-designed in partnership with diverse community stakeholders including youth and family advisory councils and the Kwikwetlem First Nation. It prioritizes inclusivity for all youth—LGBTQIA2, newcomers, Indigenous and those with disabilities and facing systemic barriers.

“SHARE is grateful to the over 20 community partners who worked tirelessly to make Foundry Tri-Cities a reality. The close partnership with Fraser Health Authority, the accessible location in Port Coquitlam, and the amazing staff team make Foundry Tri-Cities a safe, welcoming and effective place for young people and their families to get the supports they need to thrive.” - Claire MacLean, SHARE Chief Executive Officer

Fraser Health Authority will be co-located within Foundry Tri-Cities, delivering services that reflect a shared commitment to improving the accessibility and quality of care. Additionally, two Tri-Cities–based social service organizations—ACCESS Youth Outreach Services and NaloxHome—will also be co-located on site, further strengthening integrated support for the community.
