Tickets now on sale for SHARE’s signature gala

Early-bird tickets are now on sale for one of the Tri-Cities’ most anticipated charitable galas of the year.

Discounted tickets for the 21st annual IMAGINE gala, held on March 7 at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam, are available until Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.

This year’s theme is Every Step of the Way — a nod to the businesses, donors and volunteers who support the social services work offered by SHARE Family and Community Services.

The work of the five decades-old non-profit includes helping vulnerable people and providing a food bank. In addition, it gives:

  • employment assistance
  • services to newcomers
  • substance use and mental health supports
  • child and family services
  • programs for children and youth with disabilities
  • help to people who identify as neurodivergent
  • senior services

Sarah Zurbuchen, SHARE’s director of community engagement, told Freshet News the gala name IMAGINE links to the organization’s vision of what the Tri-Cities would look like “if everyone had the opportunity to engage, participate and truly reach their full potential.”

She added, “We know SHARE changes the trajectory of the individuals we serve, and it is only possible because we dare to IMAGINE it.”

SHARE organizers are expecting 300 attendees at the 2026 fundraiser, which runs from 7 to 10:30 p.m.; a pre-event reception for qualifying sponsors will be held in the upper lobby starting at 6:15 p.m.

Guests can expect “a relaxed grazing menu alongside a culinary competition featuring dishes created by local chefs and culinary talent,” according to a SHARE news release.

Ticket-holders can also vote for their favourite dishes, and dance to live music, bid on prizes in the silent auction and sign up for the 50/50 draw.

To get early-bird tickets before Feb. 14, visit the SHARE website. The price goes up $20 per ticket after Valentine’s Day.
