Food Banks Canada Menstrual Equity Fund Expanded

Thanks to support from Food Banks Canada’s Menstrual Equity Fund, SHARE has distributed four pallets of free menstrual products to people in need through our Food Banks. Over 200 people received tampons and pads that matched their personal and cultural preferences.

This fund removed a barrier to basic health and dignity. New parents in our Tiny Bundles program also received pads, making a significant difference in their recovery and comfort.

SHARE is committed to menstrual equity and ensuring everyone has access to the products they need.

This initiative was made possible through the generous donation from McKesson and funding from Women and Gender Equality Canada.
