“The staff are so friendly. I was very nervous about coming here but they are so welcoming. It’s scary coming to a new place, especially when we don’t have any family here. It’s a nice, warm place for me and my children.” Parent of a 4-year-old attending the food bank.

There’s a lot of love at SHARE’s Food Banks across the Tri-Cities. Families with small children that attend the Port Moody Parent & Tot Drop-In are greeted by staff and volunteers like Arshia and Begum. The kids are offered a nutritious snack of cheese, fruit, and vegetables thanks to a grant from the Rotary Club of Port Moody. This is an opportunity for the kids to socialize while their parents are accessing the food bank, and for the parents to receive information about the programs and resources available at SHARE and across the Tri-Cities.

Our staff speak English, French, فارسی (Farsi), 廣東話 (Cantonese), and 普通话 (Mandarin). We will also use translation apps to communicate in your language.
