Since Walmart Canada and Food Banks Canada launched the campaign in 2017, it has helped deliver over 100 million meals to Canadians in need. To launch this year’s campaign, Walmart Canada donated $1 million to Food Banks Canada, including SHARE, with additional support from generous brand partners such as Campbells, Coca-Cola, General Mills, Kellogg’s, Mars Food, PepsiCo, P&G, and many others.

Locally, the Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam Walmart stores are once again supporting SHARE Family & Community Services through the campaign. Customer donations made at these stores by rounding up a purchase, contributing at checkout, or donating food items, with a match from Walmart Canada, doubling the impact for families across the Tri-Cities.

These contributions help SHARE’s three Food Banks provide a reliable supply of nutritious food, including fresh produce, proteins, and essential grocery items, to individuals and families facing food insecurity across our region.

With food costs rising and more families turning to food banks than ever before, this partnership provides critical support. The generosity of Walmart, its partners, and local customers helps us ensure no one in our community goes hungry.
