City of New Westminster Supports SHARE's New Westminster Children's Centre

Thanks to the City of  New Westminster who have funded essential assessment tools and materials for children and families at the New Westminster Children's Centre.

SHARE's team recently gave staff from the city a tour of the new space in New Westminster. Our SHARE team showed them the tools and materials purchased and talked about the impact these have had on the families.

This grant has made a significant difference in the lives of the children we serve. SHARE is committed to helping children reach their full potential, and this grant will be instrumental in achieving this goal.

SHARE's New Westminster Children’s Centre (NWCC) provides coordinated services for children and families that live in New Westminster. Through our partnership with Kinsight, SHARE works with children, their families and other service providers in New Westminster to help children participate in everyday activities.  Early Intervention Therapists support children to develop a range of skills and abilities – from strength and balance to language and self-care.

SHARE acknowledges that their work is performed the lands of Kwantlen First Nation, Kwikwetlem First Nation, Musqueam Indian Band, Qayqayt First Nation, Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation.

City of New Westminster: It is respectful to acknowledge the Indigenous peoples whose land SHARE works upon.
