Community Resources Navigator

For individuals and families registered with the SHARE Food Bank

The Community Resources Navigator program offers support to individuals or families accessing the SHARE Food Bank to find resources and other needed services available in the community.

We can help you with information, referrals, and filling out forms related to income assistance, subsidized housing, employment, and other applications to access needed community services.

Family and Child Services

We can assist families with completing subsidy application forms to register their children for:

  • Schools, recreational activities and daycare
  • Jumpstart, KidSport and Athletic 4K
  • Free Early Years Support Services for children ages 0–6
Seniors
  • Find community services for seniors
  • Find free or low-cost transportation services
Newcomers
  • Referral to Career Path Employment and Youth Employment programs
  • Register for ESL, LINC or free conversation groups
  • Referral to appropriate mental health or medical support
Other Services
  • Help register for school, courses and programs
  • Find free or low-cost dental support
  • Help find family doctors
  • Complete clinic referral forms
