Seniors Services (65+) Better at Home Program

Better at Home 60+Independence drives our confidence and motivation. If you are a senior living at home, you know that a small amount of support can mean many years of living the life you choose in the home you love.  Tri-Cities Better at Home program helps seniors with simple day-to-day tasks, such as light housekeeping and transportation to appointments, so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes, and remain connected to their communities.

The program offers specific non-medical services to seniors who are:

  1. 65 years old or older
  2. Living in their own home (clients in assisted or independent living don’t qualify)
  3. Resident of the Tri-Cities area (Coquitlam, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam and the villages of Anmore and Belcarra).

The Better at Home program offers the following specific services:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Transportation to doctor’s appointments across Metro Vancouver
  • Minor Home Repair
  • Friendly Visiting
  • Phone Friends
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Food Support
