Your IMPACT

  • Last year, you raised $126,500 during Remember the Food Bank, exceeding our goal of filling 1000 hampers with healthy and fresh food for individuals and families.
  • You made it possible for SHARE to provide healthy, high-protein breakfast cereals and milk to children in our community.
  • When more children showed up at the Food Bank with their parents during the summer months, you made it possible for SHARE to provide meals to kids through our Community Resource Program, available during Food Bank hours.

Follow along to see how your support helps possibilities take root one story at a time.

At SHARE, behind every visit to the Food Bank, every parenting group, or every language class, there is a person. A story. A moment of courage. Over the next few weeks, you will hear real stories from our community. Stories of healing, connection, and possibilities taking root and growing stronger. Each story starts with something simple: a food hamper, a conversation, a safe space to be heard. And from that small seed, something powerful grows — food security rooted in compassion, and a renewed sense of belonging and confidence. In SHARE’s Garden of Possibilities, hope grows. And it starts with you.

Natasha's Story

They arrived in a new community with nothing but each other to rely on. No food. No support system. Just the quiet hope that things could get better.

When Natasha found herself struggling with the bare necessities, she turned to the SHARE Food Bank. The sight of a SHARE volunteer helping Natasha fill her wagon with fresh produce, milk, and eggs, was a beacon of hope. But it was more than just food she took home that day. She left with a renewed sense of confidence, a priceless gift that can't be packed in a bag.

That same morning, her son clapped along in circle time for the very first time at SHARE's Family Drop-in program. It was a small moment — but one that followed months of fear and uncertainty after escaping an abusive relationship.

Natasha also met another mom that day. Someone who was also overwhelmed, also wondering if she was doing enough. They talked. They connected. And Natasha found strength in sharing her story.

She left feeling proud.

That afternoon, she submitted her first job application.

Because SHARE's Food Bank is just the beginning.

At SHARE, a bag of groceries is more than just food. It's the first step towards a life-changing journey. It's safety, it's friendship, it's a fresh start. It's the beginning of a new chapter for individuals like Natasha, who find hope and compassion in the most unexpected places.

In our Garden of Possibilities, confidence blooms. And it starts with you.

Your support is not just a donation. It's a lifeline, a helping hand, a ray of hope. It's what helps families like Natasha's grow strong roots and begin again. You are an essential part of this journey.
