IMAGINE Gala 2026
SHARE Family & Community Services’ signature fundraising event returns for its 21st year. IMAGINE Gala brings together community leaders, business owners, donors and neighbours for an evening of connection, celebration and generosity—all in support of people across the Tri-Cities and beyond.
This is more than a night out. It’s a moment to come together, to understand real community need, and to walk every step of the way alongside children, families, youth, adults and seniors who rely on SHARE’s programs.

Our 2026 theme — every step of the way—honours both the collective effort of our community and SHARE’s role in supporting people across every stage of life.
From a baby in an early years program, to a youth accessing mental health support, to a family navigating food insecurity, to a senior seeking connection and care—SHARE walks alongside people every step of the way.

What to expect on this night of purpose
IMAGINE Gala is intentionally not a traditional sit‑down dinner. Instead, guests enjoy a relaxed, social evening designed to spark conversation, connection and generosity.
IMAGINE Gala is also a unique networking opportunity, bringing together community and business leaders, elected officials and decision‑makers, long‑time supporters and first‑time attendees. Whether you’re attending with colleagues, clients, friends or family, the gala offers a meaningful way to show your commitment to community while enjoying a memorable night out.
The evening is welcoming, purpose-driven and festive and includes:
- A curated grazing menu
- A culinary competition featuring local chefs and culinary talent—guests vote for their favourites
- Live entertainment
- Silent auction and 50/50 draw
- A powerful live call‑to‑action donation moment
- New in 2026! Colourful LED displays and an interactive street market featuring local artisans and makers for guests to stroll, sample and connect with throughout the night
Why IMAGINE Matters
SHARE Family & Community Services supports more than 30,000 people each year across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, Belcarra and New Westminster.
For over 50 years, SHARE has walked alongside people during times of vulnerability—offering housing support, food security, mental health and counselling services, early years programming and early intervention, youth and senior supports, advocacy, education and employment services. But not all essential services are fully funded.
Twenty percent of SHARE’s budget relies on fundraising dollars. Some programs—like the Food Bank—receive little funding, yet support 5,000 children, families, and seniors every month. Events like IMAGINE Gala help keep doors open, staff employed, and services accessible to those who need them most.

Throughout the evening, you’ll see clear, transparent examples of how donor dollars are put to work—what programs cost, why they matter and the impact your support makes.
Funds raised at IMAGINE Gala directly support unfunded and underfunded programs, including SHARE’s Food Bank, Foundry Tri-Cities and Family Resource Centres (Early Years programs).
