43 Housing

43 HousingA home, warmth and shelter, is the foundation for success in all other areas of our lives.  It is important that children have a secure home.  Stability and a good night’s sleep improves their ability to learn in school, and to continue being active, healthy kids!   Adults in the 43 Housing program can rest assured that their family is safe and sheltered, and can focus on wellness, employment, and the balance of a healthy life for themselves and their children.

43 Housing is a sister society to SHARE Family and Community Services. 43 Housing operates 288 units of social housing in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. This is housing for families, people 55+ and adults with disabilities who can live independently and who have limited incomes.

When a vacancy occurs new tenants are selected from the Provincial Registry operated by BC Housing.  To register for 43 Housing buildings and or any social housing in BC you can register online at bchousing.org or by phone 604-433-2218 or you can visit their office at 101-4555 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4V8.
