In response to the COVID-19 crisis and with the generous support of funding from the Community Action Initiative, SHARE’s Talking Helps counselling services will be free for a limited time for all residents of the Tri-Cities.

Talking Helps is a counselling program for residents of the Tri-Cities.  Master’s level, clinical counsellors, with extensive experience and a variety of languages work with people - couples and families to help with the challenges of daily life such as parenting, relationship, stress,  trauma, divorce or separation, anger management, anxiety, depression, loss and grief, and employment issues along with other mental wellness concerns.

Because of Covid-19 staying at home and social distancing directives have been hard on people’s mental wellness.  The loss of income and jobs has also been difficult.  As a result we know that people’s ability to pay for the counselling support services that they may need now more than ever is limited.  To help, Talking Helps counselling services will be free for a limited time.

We are able to offer our highly regarded counselling services for free to all Tri-Cities residents from June 22nd and into October as funding allows.  This temporary free service to the Tri-Cities community will help keep money in people’s pockets and support people to get the help that they need.

SHARE offers services in English, Tagalog, Chinese, Farsi, French, and German at this time and can arrange for free translation services if needed. Our services are delivered in compliance with provincial health authority recommendations, and remote/virtual services are available.

To get Talking Helps Counselling is a simple phone call away.  Please call our Intake team at 604-937-6969.
