Last night, SHARE kicked off the month leading up to IMAGINE 2016 in style at STAKE Restaurant at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver! Local chef Wayne Harris of Cactus Club gave a live cooking demonstration to the delight of those in attendance. Along with his Sous Chef, Sylvia Ceacero, CEO of SHARE and Junior Chef Galen, they created three courses, all from the contents of the SHARE Food Bank Hamper. These culinary creations included Fried Rice, Pork and Beans Shepard’s Pie and Layered Fruit Parfait!

Another year older, another year wiser — or in the case of 11-year-old Marissa McKinnon, another year of spreading holiday cheer.
The Coquitlam tween turned 11 in November and instead of accepting toys, she put food and gift cards on her wish list.

Coquitlam BC, November 9, 2015 –SHARE’s Food Bank is preparing for our Annual Christmas Toy Program. We provide toys to residents of the Tri-Cities to assist families over Christmas. Parents or guardians of children 17 & under may apply to receive toys this Christmas but must register. You may be asked to provide legal documents indicating you have custody if you are not the parent.
To qualify for the SHARE Family Services Toy Program you will be required to provide documentation to support that your household income is at or below the Low Income standard.
