Christmas Donations

How to Donate:

Food donations can be dropped off at the SHARE food Bank at 2615 Clark Street, Port Moody or our donations can be placed in the donation bin at your local grocery stores in the Tri Cities.

Financial Donations:

Financial donations can be made the SHARE Food Bank at 2615 Clark Street, Port Moody. Your donation can also be sent to our administrative offices at 200-25 King Edward Street, Coquitlam BC V3K4S8 or you can make your donation online here.

SHARE Christmas Toy Program

Parents or guardians of children 17 years of age and under may apply to receive Christmas toys.  You may be asked to provide legal documents indicating you have custody if you are not the parent.

To qualify for the SHARE Family & Community Services Toy program, you will need to provide documentation to support that your household income (anyone who is working) is at or below the low income standard.

Beginning on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, you may register at only ONE of the locations below:

1. WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS: Nov 7 to Dec 7 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

PORT MOODY: Port Moody Pacific Grace Church, 2622 St. John’s Street (across the alley from the SHARE Food Bank).

2. WEDNESDAYS:  Nov 14, 21, and 28 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

COQUITLAM: Hillside Community Church, 1393 Austin Avenue (between Gatensbury and Schoolhouse).

Public Transportation: 152 Lougheed Station/Coquitlam Station bus line.  Take the Schoolhouse and Austin stop.

3. WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS: Nov 7 to Nov 28 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

PORT COQUITLAM:  Trinity United Church, 2211 Prairie Avenue (corner of Prairie & Shaughnessy).

Requirements: At the time of registration you MUST apply in person with CURRENT I.D. and the following:

  1. Proof of Address, e.g. RECENT Rental Agreement, Utility bill, Bank Statement for all adults in the house.
  2. CareCards and / or Immigration Cards for all members of the family
  3. Income Source, e.g.: cheque stub from MEIA, E.I., WCB, Work or Bank Statement for the household

NOTE: After November 28th ALL Christmas Registration questions can be directed to SHARE Food Bank, 2615 Clarke St., Port Moody (rear of the building).

Christmas Food Hampers

If you…           are a CURRENT Food Bank client, you do NOT need to register for a Christmas Food hamper.

If you…            have NEVER been to a SHARE Food Bank, you will need to register.

If you…           have NOT attended SHARE Food Bank for MORE THAN 6 MONTHS, you will need to register.

A Christmas food hamper will be available for you to pick up on your regular Food Bank day on either December 12 or December 19 at your regular Food Bank depot as usual between the following hours:

  • Coquitlam – 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
  • Port Coquitlam – 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
  • Port Moody – 11:30 am – 2:00 pm

We ask that you please come prepared to carry your hamper.

Tiny Bundles Families

Tiny Bundles clients will receive ONE Christmas hamper on either December 12 or December 19. Tiny Bundles families can come on both dates to get their special Tiny Bundle items ONLY.
