Appointment of Claire MacLean, SHARE CEO
Coquitlam, British Columbia: We are pleased to announce that the SHARE Family and Community Services Board voted unanimously to appoint Claire MacLean as Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2017.
“Claire has already proven herself to be a strong, thoughtful and innovative leader within the organization,” said Debbie Pudek, Chair of the Board. “The Tri-Cities are growing and so is the need for services. We know Claire will work tirelessly to support residents of our community.”

Claire joined the SHARE team in 2016 as Director of Programs and Services. Over the past year, Claire oversaw the delivery of services to:
- 992 children in the Early Intervention Program;
- 100 refugee families in the New Beginnings Program;
- 78 children in the School-Aged Therapy Program;
- 168 families who attended the Mountain View Family Resource Program; and,
- 39 children served by Social-Emotional Early Development Services.
Originally from Calgary, Claire completed her Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. She worked with children with special needs and their families in a range of multi-disciplinary settings including Renfrew Educational Services (Calgary), Geneva Centre for Autism (Toronto) and Toronto East General Hospital. Claire spent eleven years working for the Ministry of Children and Youth Services in Ontario, where she managed a range of early years programs including the Preschool Speech and Language Program, Infant Development Program and Infant Hearing Program. Upon her return to British Columbia, Claire served the BC Centre of Ability as Director of Speech Language Pathology.
